Mitch Hedberg was born in St. Paul,
Minnesota, on February 24, 1968. He began
his stand-up career in Florida, and after a
period of honing his skills there he moved
to Seattle and began touring. He soon
appeared on MTV's "Comikaze", then a 1996
appearance on
"Late Night with David Letterman" (1982)
brought him his big break. He won the 1997
grand prize at the Seattle Comedy
Competition. The next year saw him appearing
on Fox's hit series
"That '70s Show" (1998). In 1999 he
completed his own independent feature film,
Los Enchiladas! (1999), which he wrote,
directed, produced and starred in. He has
also recorded two comedy CDs entitled "Mitch
All Together" and "Strategic Grill
Locations". He has appeared at the 2001
Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival.
Mitch Hedberg died on March 30, 2005 of a
drug overdose. He will be sadly missed by
all.
